A glimpse into my journey, values, and what drives me as a cybersecurity engineering student.
My Journey
I'm Supun Adithya, a third-year Cybersecurity Engineering student at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). My fascination with technology began at an early age, and has evolved into a deep passion for understanding the systems that power our digital world.
My academic journey is just beginning, but I've already developed hands-on experience in several areas that align with my interests. I believe in learning by doing — building real projects that solve real problems.
Technical Expertise
Cybersecurity
Currently focusing on learning fundamentals of cybersecurity, including network security, cryptography, and security principles. I enjoy understanding vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them.
Linux Systems
Strong interest in Linux operating systems. I regularly work with different distributions and enjoy configuring systems for optimal security and performance.
Backend Development
Experience with Node.js and Express.js to develop server-side applications. Backend development fascinates me as it combines logical problem-solving with creating robust systems.
Hardware & Electronics
Beyond software, I enjoy working with computer hardware and electronics — building, upgrading, and troubleshooting systems is both challenging and rewarding.
